Happy Monday! I’m coming off a really spectacular weekend. I celebrated an anniversary, went on a beautiful spring run in Central Park, got a fantastic haircut, saw The Hunger Games (I realized I might not be so young and cool anymore when I found myself SHUSHING teenagers), ate my favorite meal (veggie burger at Houston’s/Hillstone), saw my best friend and even had time to do a ton of relaxing on the couch with my new favorite HGTV show For Rent (anyone watch this?) and my book.
And here is what I’m reading!
How I achieve my signature look – Color Me Rouge
Why we love it: This post really struck a chord with me. I think it’s almost like a rite of passage when you figure out your signature look — something just kind of clicks and you just feel right and know this is *your* look. I figured out mine in my twenties, and now that I am comfortable with my look, I can own it. And I do!
Why we love it: While I admittedly haven’t watched her show in a couple of seasons (I’ve always been drawn to Bethenny, but the show got a little boring for me) I am a sucker for her margaritas. I was shocked to see her SKINCARE line at a store a few weeks ago. What! Is there anything this woman won’t put her name on? I mean, I’m all for Bethenny, but Skinnygirl + skincare seems a little odd. That said, I bought her lip gloss. I mean, how could I not try something in her line?!
Rebecca Minkoff Mini Neon M.A.C. – Rebecca Minkoff
Why we love it: The last thing in the world I need is another bag. I’m not joking. It is actually the LAST thing I need. I have too many bags and should probably take a few to the eBay. That said, I clicked on this link the other day and almost put down my credit card then and there. I restrained myself though, because the only thing I need less than a new bag is a new bag that isn’t big enough to hold my sunglasses case and my wallet at the same time. Even if it is neon pink. Even if I love it.
